2. Online Ordering Terms

2.1 Order Process

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse any order
Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance
Prices are subject to change without notice

2.2 Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of ordering

2.3 Delivery and Collection

Delivery Areas

We deliver within a 5-mile radius of our café at 70 Niddrie Mains Road, Edinburgh. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Collection

Collection orders must be picked up within 30 minutes of the notified ready time. Uncollected orders may be disposed of after 2 hours.

3. Table Reservations and Event Bookings

3.1 Reservation Policy

Reservations are held for 15 minutes past the booking time
Large groups (6+) may be required to provide a deposit
We accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours in advance

3.2 Venue Hire

Booking Confirmation

Venue hire bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and deposit payment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days may be subject to charges.

4. Catering Services

4.1 Quotations and Bookings

Quotations are valid for 30 days
Bookings require a 50% deposit to secure the date
Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days before the event
Menu changes within 7 days may incur additional charges

4.2 Dietary Requirements

We take dietary requirements seriously. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee complete allergen-free environments.

Important Notice

Customers with severe allergies must inform us in writing before the event. We will make reasonable accommodations but cannot accept liability for allergic reactions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Kitchen & Bean Café and protected by UK copyright laws. Unauthorised use of any content is prohibited.

Website Usage

You may view and print pages from the website for personal use only. Commercial use requires written permission from Kitchen & Bean Café.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1 Food Quality Issues

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of food received, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery/collection. We may offer a replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion.

8.2 Cancellation Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel online orders within 14 days. However, this right does not apply to perishable goods such as food.

Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 working days of approval.
